Skin Care

Our practice offers an outstanding skin care program benefiting all skin care types and age groups. This includes a full range of chemical peels and "lunchtime" peels. We utilize the latest lasers for hair removal, treatment of vascular lesions and skin resurfacing.

Listed below is information on some of the Skin Care procedures we provide. For more information on a specific procedure, or to inquire about a procedure not listed on this page, please contact our Warren, Ohio office.

BOTOX® is a non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crows feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck. The toxin blocks the nerve impulses, temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles while giving the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels use a chemical solution to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. Chemical peels are helpful for those individuals with facial blemishes, wrinkles and uneven skin pigmentation. Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and alphahydroxy acids (AHAs) are used for this purpose.

Injectible Fillers

Injectable fillers are used to plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases and wrinkles, or improve the appearance of recessed scars. Restylane, Juvederm and Radiesse are used for this purpose.

Laser Hair Removal

Shaving and waxing can be very time consuming and sometimes painful. We use a safe and effective laser to destroy hair follicles and remove unwanted hair. This gentle treatment is great for "beach" season or for year round convenience.

Skin Rejuvenation and Resurfacing

In laser skin resurfacing a laser is used to remove areas of damaged or wrinkled skin, layer by layer. The procedure is most commonly used to minimize the appearance of fine lines, especially around the mouth and the eyes. However, it is also effective in treating facial scars or areas of uneven pigmentation. Laser resurfacing may be performed on the whole face or in specific regions. Often, the procedure is done in conjunction with another cosmetic operation, such as a facelift or eyelid surgery.
